Research Division Manager (Full Time, 1 position)

 

Duties and Scope:

• Help building research and analyst team for a fund to aim for high performance in trading.
• Manager Research Team for Buy side mutual fund.
• Conduct securities, industries, and economics analyses and produce related documents.
• Propose to Investment Committee to add pending securities to investment universe.
• Conduct periodic financial review on securities in approved stock list and propose appropriate course of action to Investment Committee for consideration.
• Supervise and ensure proper working activities of research analyst in accordance with company rules and governed laws and regulations.
• Handle other administrative affairs assigned by fund management supervisor.
• Other related assignments.

Requirements:

• Have experiences in studying or making financial forecasts of stocks (foreign market or SET) at least 50 stocks.
• Understand the principle of value investment and understand major theories in Value Investing of Benjamin Graham, Peter Lynch,Warren Buffet, Bill Ackman, and other value investors.
• Deep knowledge in business research and scuttlebutt approach.
• Possessing an Investment Analyst License is preferable.

 

Budget:

• According to the agreement.

Risk Management Officer

Duties and Scope:

Establishment guidelines and enterprise risk management framework, develop measurement and monitoring tools to meet organizational needs to ensure that the organization will be able to adequately and efficiently reduce risks that occur as well as creating a culture of risk management as part of the organizational culture.

1. Prepare/review policies and organizational risk management frameworks and strategies
2. Develop appropriate risk management processes and tools for covering enterprise especially, operational and investment risk areas.
3. Analyze and report enterprise risks and identify causes and create risk reduction plans together with business units.
4. Investment Risk position is required to comply with SEC regulations;

4.1 Monitor and report risk limits in accordance with the fund’s risk management policy and SEC regulations

4.2 Conduct and report risk analysis through standard modeling techniques such as Value at Risk (VaR), Historical Raw and Adjusted Beta, Back Test Analysis, Stress Test / Scenario Analysis, etc.

4.3 Monitor fund subscription/redemption, and manage fund liquidity risk on daily basis.

4.4 Calculate and report benchmark performance, portfolio performance, and return-risk attributions, including Sharpe Ratio, Information Ratio, Alpha, Beta, Standard Deviation, Tracking Error, etc.

4.5 Prepare quarterly and annual risk reports and present them to the Board of Directors.

4.6 Review Risk Management Policy, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), fund risk limits, and other related regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Risk Management, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
  A new graduate is warmly welcome.
• 23-28 years old is preferable.
• Has a strong foundation in Math, Statistics, or Finance.
• Has basic knowledge and passion for the stock exchange and financial products.
• Can communicate in English (writing and speaking)
• Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Bloomberg skill is a plus.
• Python or any coding skills are preferable.
